For 15 years, PowerStrength has been the trusted training ground for West Michigan’s top athletes — and this football season is proving why.
Now past the halfway point of the season, PowerStrength athletes are lighting up Friday nights across West Michigan. Here are just some of the guys who have stood out through the first five games.

QUARTERBACKS
Brayden Daniels (Rockford, 2026) has completed better than 63% percent of his passes for 574 yards and 6 touchdowns, plus he has run for another 4 scores.
Cole Haist (Big Rapids, 2026) has led a Cardinals (5-0) offense that is averaging 52.8 points per game this season.
Chuck King (Grand Rapids Christian, 2027) has thrown for 701 yards and 3 touchdowns, while running for 329 yards and another score in his 2nd season as a starter. The Eagles have won 3 straight games and play at West Catholic on Friday in a battle for 1st place.
Owen Ostipow (Forest Hills Northern, 2027) has accounted for 13 total touchdowns this season with 510 rushing yards and another 400 yards through the air.
Vaughn Veltman (Tri County 2026) has the Vikings off to a 4-1 start to the season. He had a school-record 95-yard touchdown run in the team’s week 2 win over Sanford Meridian.
Eli Wolters (Holland 2028) threw for a school-record 388 yards against Holland Christian, and then broke that a week later with 511 passing yards in a win over Comstock Park.

RUNNING BACKS
Luke Ahern (Rockford, 2026) has emerged in the Rams’ backfield with 238 yards and 6 touchdowns rushing on just 37 carries. The 3-year starter at safety has contributed 39 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, and a pass breakup.
KV Korenstra (Grand Haven, 2027) has made the move from wide receiver after the Buccaneers lost standout running back Andrew Willemsen to injury. Korenstra has ran the ball well, including an 88-yard touchdown against Rockford.
Timmy Railling (Muskegon Catholic Central, 2026) has rushed for 775 yards and 10 touchdowns so far. That includes games of 301 yards and 5 touchdowns, and 224 yards and 4 scores.
Colton Sawyer (Forest Hills Northern, 2026) is over 450 yards rushing for the season with 5 touchdowns. He also plays linebacker for the Huskies.
Jordan Shabbazz (Forest Hills Eastern 2027) has 462 yards rushing and 9 touchdowns through the first 5 games of the season.

WIDE RECEIVERS
Jax Eichbauer (Rockford, 2026) has 16 receptions, 282 yards, and 2 touchdowns this season, helping the Rams to 4 straight wins.
Finn Galloway (Holland, 2028) is having a breakout sophomore season. Galloway set a school record by scoring 7 touchdowns in a win over Comstock Park, 4 receiving and 3 rushing. He plays quarterback for the Dutch in their Wildcat formation and also starts at safety.
Cam InBody (West Catholic, 2026) is averaging 18.8 yards per reception with a pair of touchdown catches. He also starts at cornerback for the Falcons, who have won 4 games in a row.
TIGHT ENDS
Jon Heuker (Unity Christian, 2026) has a pair of touchdown receptions and has blocked really well for the Saders offense, which is averaging over 46 points per game, and is 5-0 this season. He also stars on the Unity defensive line at defensive end.
Grady Patrick (Zeeland West, 2027) is excelling on both sides of the ball for the Dux (4-1). He has made some big catches and has blocked well from the tight end spot.
Jaxon VanHoutum (Sparta, 2028) is one of the Spartans’ top targets as a sophomore. He set a single-game school record with 187 receiving yards against Wayland in week 2. He had 9 catches, including 1 for a touchdown in the win over the Wildcats. VanHoutem also plays linebacker for Sparta.

OFFENSIVE LINE
Hayden Fee (Holland Christian, 2026) is playing at a very high level at both right guard and defensive tackle for the Maroons (4-1). HC loves to run behind Fee, and as a result, the offense is averaging 38 points per game this season.
Hunter Hankamp (Coopersville, 2027) is anchoring the Broncos’ offensive line from his left tackle position. Coopersville’s offense is improving each week, and Hankamp is a big reason why.
Jack Iakiri (Lowell, 2026) starts at left tackle for a Red Arrows (4-1) team that is winning thanks to its ability to run the football.
Eli Macauley (Forest Hills Northern, 2026) continues to elevate his level of play, just as he has done for the last 4 years on varsity. Macauley has been a force on the offensive and defensive lines this season for the Huskies.
Mason Myers (Zeeland West, 2026) has been a dominant player on both lines this season for the Dux (4-1). On offense, Myers paved the way for Zeeland West’s 38-14 win over Zeeland East last week.
Levi Offringa (Unity Christian, 2026) is one of just a handful of returning starters for the Saders (5-0). His play and leadership have allowed Unity to beat opponents by an average of 32.8 points per game so far this season.
DEFENSIVE LINE
Grant Adloff (East Grand Rapids, 2027) is showing why he is a heavily sought-after recruit. Adloff controls both lines of scrimmage for the Pioneers (3-2), who have won 3 of their last 4 games.
Luke Brodnicki (Hudsonville, 2027) is a 2nd-year starter on the Eagles’ (5-0) defensive line, and if it’s possible, he has become even more disruptive this season as a junior.
Calvin Rossman (Coopersville, 2028) is almost impossible to block from his defensive end spot for the Broncos in his 2nd season starting there. Rossman is also starting at right tackle this year as a sophomore for Coopersville, and doing that at an incredibly high level.
Gavin Bouma (South Christian, 2027) has been living in the opponents’ backfield this season from his defensive end position in the Sailors’ new 4-3 defense after starting at outside linebacker last year as a sophomore.

LINEBACKERS
Jonah Broemer (Grand Haven, 2026) has made plays all over the field for the Buccaneers. He can stand up as an outside linebacker and is equally as dangerous with his hand on the ground as a defensive end. Broemer also starts at right tackle for Grand Haven.
Davis Hutt (GR Christian, 2026) is leading the way for the Eagles at both center and inside linebacker. GRC (3-2) is off to its best start in 5 seasons.
Marshall Johnson (Zeeland West, 2026) continues to make a major impact as a linebacker for a Dux (4-1) defense that is starting to play really well over the last couple of weeks. Johnson also starts at tight end for Zeeland West.
Nathen Raison (Lowell, 2026) has excelled for the Red Arrows no matter where they put him. He has lined up at wide receiver, tight end, running back, linebacker, and defensive back this season as Lowell has started 4-1.

DEFENSIVE BACKS
PJ LeBlanc (Rockford, 2026) moved from cornerback to safety this season and has shown an ability to both cover and tackle. LeBlanc has played a major role for the Rams’ defense, which has allowed 14 total points over the last 2 weeks against East Kentwood and Grandville.
Ty Strick (Hudsonville, 2027) is a junior starter at cornerback for the Eagles, where his speed plays, but he hits like a safety. Hudsonville (5-0) is allowing just 10 points per game this season as a team.
