Connor Knapp has always been a competitor. Whether leading West Ottawa’s football team as a three-year varsity starter or excelling on the baseball field, he has consistently pushed himself to be his best.
Now, as he prepares for the next chapter of his athletic career playing football at Wayne State University, Connor credits PowerStrength Training Systems for giving him an edge that he had never experienced before.
Connor joined PowerStrength’s Holland facility shortly after it opened in November and immediately immersed himself in the Premier Advanced Training Program—an elite program designed for high-level athletes looking to maximize their potential. The results have been immediate and undeniable.
“I wanted to come to PowerStrength because I wanted to become bigger, faster, stronger,” Connor said. “That’s a cliché answer, but I’m going to college, so I want to actually be bigger, faster, stronger, so I can get a little head start before college.”
RESULTS LIKE NEVER BEFORE
Connor had trained with other strength programs in the past, but nothing compared to what he experienced at PowerStrength. Within the first two months, he saw changes in his strength, speed, and overall athleticism.
“The biggest thing that I feel is the results, and I’ve seen them fast,” Connor said. “I see it week to week—when we do legs, I see it, bench, everything. I see it fast.”
The efficiency and structure of the Premier program made all the difference. Every session has a purpose, and every movement translates directly to his performance on the field.
“The things that we do, I can feel a real pump, I can feel muscle movement. I can feel everything,” he said.
PREPARING FOR COLLEGE WITH A COMPETITIVE EDGE
While Connor is already committed to Wayne State, his work at PowerStrength isn’t about coasting—it’s about preparing.
His training is fine-tuned for the demands of college football, and he’s using every opportunity to sharpen his skills before stepping onto the field at the next level.
One of the biggest cheat codes for Connor has been PowerStrength’s combine workshops, where athletes break down the mechanics of crucial performance tests like the 40-yard dash.
“This is amazing,” Connor said. “I’ve really never practiced my 40-yard dash before. The other day I was going over technique with (PowerStrength Pro) Caleb, and that was the best 40 time I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not the fastest dude, but the little steps to become faster is a game-changer.”
Beyond improving his speed, these workshops have given Connor a deeper understanding of how to get better.
“Knowing what to do and knowing what steps it takes to get faster, that way I can just keep on building on the little small things so that I can be the fastest person I can be,” he said.
TRACKING GROWTH FOR THE LONG HAUL
Even though he’s heading off to play college football, Connor isn’t just thinking about the short term. He wants to track his progress over four to five years, seeing just how much he can improve as he matures as an athlete.
“I just want to see where I’m at before I go to college,” Connor said. “So that over my four or five years, I can see where I am after and see the big growth throughout the years.”
STRONG INVESTMENT
Connor is vocal about his experience at PowerStrength. He talks about it every day, not just because of the results, but because of the environment.
“I don’t think I go a day without talking about PowerStrength,” Connor said. “I think it’s honestly the best investment I’ve ever made in my life. I see everything so quickly. Everything is so natural. Everything about going to PowerStrength, I love it, everybody is so genuine. I see everybody around wants to get after it.”
For Connor, PowerStrength was different from anything he had tried before.
“I’ve gone to trainers in the past, and I didn’t really see anything out of it,” he said. “It was kind of something to just go to after school, but now we’re actually getting after it. I see results, I’m getting bigger, I’m getting faster, I’m getting stronger.”
And he’s not stopping anytime soon. With Premier winding down and baseball season approaching, Connor has plans to maintain and build on the gains he’s made over the last three months by continuing to train at PowerStrength through his baseball season.
“I’m excited to continue getting after it after Premier, come back in because I also play baseball,” Connor said. “So I’ll get after it after baseball practice too.”
Not only will it allow him to report to college in the best shape of his life, but it will also benefit him in baseball—another sport where speed and power make all the difference.
BRIGHT FUTURE
As Connor Knapp prepares for his transition from high school to college, one thing is clear—his work at PowerStrength has set the foundation for his success.
He has taken full advantage of Premier, and the results speak for themselves.
With his dedication, competitive drive, and commitment to getting better every day, Connor is on track for big things at the next level.
And no matter what, PowerStrength will always be part of his journey.
