PowerStrength has been propelling athletes in all sports to reach their potential in West Michigan for the last 13+ years.
Football is the sport that is always strongly represented – with over 300 hometown players earning All-Conference and/or All-State Honors over the years, and over 200 area athletes earning the opportunity to play college football.
And the football factory at PowerStrength has been working overtime this off-season.
The PSTS Army will be stronger across West Michigan this fall than ever before with 145+ athletes expected to compete at the varsity level this season.
Just like you – and us- these guys are ready for some football!

OFFENSIVE LINE
Of all the positions on the field, it’s the big boys up front that are maximizing their potential at PowerStrength in large numbers.
This may be the best group of varsity linemen we’ve ever had.
Forest Hills Eastern senior Ace Simonson is a perfect example of what years of hard work look like. We chronicled how his consistency transformed him into a major college football recruit in January. Ace has been a staple on the offensive line for the Hawks and will also start as a defensive lineman this fall.
And he’s not alone. FHE will boast a lot of beef up front that has been hard at work this off-season with linemen such as: Jaxon Campione, Edom Denoo, Brandon Ford, Dylan Langdon, Max Langdon, Nathaniel Nowicki, and Brayden Syrba.
JJ Hirdes is the only returning starter on the offensive line at Coopersville, and he is a good one. He recently committed to Western Michigan – and along with a contingent of others, makes the Broncos the favorite in the newly formed River Cities Alliance conference. Other Bronco linemen joining JJ this season are Caleb Ashby, Will Decker, Hunter Hankamp, and Jaydon Miller.
Rockford High School has a beast of a line and littered with college prospects with Dawson LaPlante, Gage Maxon, Nolan Miller, Zane Pachula, and Aaron Papes.

QUARTERBACKS
The guys with the ball in their hands on every snap are upgrading their athleticism, confidence, and leadership at PowerStrength.
Coopersville senior Beau Harris at quarterback for the Broncos is coming off another monster off-season training at PSTS. Beau was a part of PowerStrength’s most advanced training program, Premier, and set the all-time combine record for vertical jump. Add in the athleticism with his varsity experience (3-year starter), and unwavering leadership, and we’ve got a player and a team with high expectations.
Kayd Coffman made the move from South Christian to East Kentwood and the junior leads a program with a lot of excitement as Ty Spencer takes over as head coach after leading Detroit King to 4 state titles. Coffman has been coming to PowerStrength since middle school preparing for this opportunity. He picked up scholarship offers from Central Michigan and Western Michigan this off-season. Other QB’S that have been at PowerStrength since middle school and are now on Varsity are Bryce Backus (Caledonia), Nathan Larson (Grand Rapids Christian), and Vaughn Veltman (Tri County).

OTHER POSITIONS TO WATCH
Rockford senior tight end Blake Linsley had a busy off-season. He attended camps, visited schools all over the midwest, received 9 scholarship offers to play college football including Butler, Dayton, Davenport, and Ashland, and still trained at least two sessions per week at PowerStrengh. He has set himself up for success in his senior football season and beyond.
Mason Conklin is poised to make some serious noise for Sparta this fall. He was All-Conference last year at defensive end, but a strong off-season of training has Mason bigger, faster, and stronger as he moves to linebacker on defense and will also play guard on the offensive line this year for the Spartans who begin play in the new Rivers Cities Alliance conference.
