Brzozowski Raises His Game at PowerStrength, Achieves Goal

Tyler Brzozowski embodies what it means to lead from the front. He wanted to play football at the collegiate level and understood what he had to do to make that happen. That’s why he came to PowerStrength Training Systems during his junior year at Comstock Park High School.

“I saw (PSTS) on social media and thought it was the place to be,” Brzozowski recalled. “I saw guys getting results and wanted to be like those guys.”

Brzozowski worked out at school, but knew that if he wanted to get to the next level, he needed every advantage.

He was able to gain the benefits of the 1-on-1 attention from expert coaches and sports specific training that PowerStrength provides.

“In the workouts here you get a lot more intensity,” Brzozowksi said. “They push you harder here than at my school.”

This happens because of the small group structure of the training sessions at PowerStrength. The hidden benefit is the fact that everyone in the gym is very serious about getting better.

“Atmosphere is pretty hype,” Brzozowski said. “You get all kinds of dudes that are top level athletes that are just like you. They push you to be your best every time, every set.”

GETTING RESULTS

After months of hard work in the gym, Brzozowski had a stellar senior season on the gridiron helping the Panthers reach the playoffs as a 2-way starter at linebacker and tight end.

“I’ve seen improvement in every aspect, size, speed, strength,” Brzozowski said. “On the football field I went from being just an average football player to now being all-conference and playing in college now.”

Brzozowski reached another goal when he committed to play football at Kalamazoo College. He will Join the Hornets in the fall.

JOINING PREMIER

With almost a year under his belt at PSTS, and the desire to be prepared for college football, Brzozowski was invited to join the Premier Training group. Premier is the most advanced training program that is offered at PowerStrength.

During the 3-month Premier winter program this past year, Brzozowski continued to transform as an athlete.

Tyler added 8 inches to his broad jump, increased his vertical jump by 2.5 inches, he added 16 pounds to his frame, and still dropped his fully electric 10-yard sprint from 1.72 to 1.65.

“All the guys that are in college are obviously bigger, faster, stronger,” Brzozowski said. “When I first came here I was kind of on the small side, (PowerStrength) helped me get up there, same size as those guys that are in college.”

Tyler has proved that he belongs with the best of the best at PowerStrength.
“He works incredibly hard and leads by example,” Austin Trotter, General Manager at PowerStrength Alpine, said. “His goals were to add muscle, drop his 40-yard time, and increase his strength. He accomplished all 3 in winter Premier and is looking to build off of that in spring Premier to be ready to play football at Kalamazoo college this upcoming fall. He is extremely coachable and hungry, he makes it easy and fun to work with. We’re all so pumped for him and what he’s been able to achieve.”

By the time he reports to Kalamazoo College for fall camp, Brzozowski will be even more prepared for the rigors of college football. He is currently participating in the spring Premier training program and continues to transform himself.

“If I can continue the success that I’ve had from (winter) Premier and then build another one on top of that then I feel like I can elevate my game ever more,” Brzozowksi said.

“You come here because you are always around athletes with the same mindset and same goals as you. If you are trying to be the best of the best, that is what everybody is, here. They push you to be your absolute best.”

THE ESSENTIALS

Getting bigger, faster, and stronger the way Brzozowski has doesn’t come from moving weights alone. Improvement comes with being very intentional in all aspects of life, something Brzozowksi has learned and implemented.

“I’ve definitely learned more about mental toughness,” Brzozowski said. “Also eating habits, what you have to be putting in your body to perform your best.”
