Frequently Asked Questions
ask us anything
The following are some of the most common questions we get from clients as they look to get started with us.
What time are sessions offered throughout the day?
Training sessions are offered throughout the day Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings. Our flexible schedule includes early morning, mid-morning, early evening, and evening sessions.
Will I be on my own in the gym or will I have a coach with me?
We are a private, appointment-only coaching facility that specializes in personal training. Regardless of what session you attend, you will always be led by a personal trainer. Our coaches not only guide you through sessions, but they also help you optimize your health and get results inside the gym and out.
I have a current or prior injury that impacts my movement. Can I still join PowerStrength?
YES! We will meet you where you are with your ability. We have extensive experience working with a wide range of ability levels, including individuals that are limited by ongoing injuries or illnesses. And if we can’t serve you immediately, we will direct you to one of the professionals in our trusted network.
Is there nutrition guidance provided with a membership?
Yes. Included in your membership you will receive nutrition information, resources, and guidance on supplementation and various recovery methods. We provide this information so there is a clear path for the best results. Personalized Nutrition Coaching packages are also available for further support & accountability.
How is progress measured?
We measure progress a few different ways, but the two main objective measurements are:
Performance – training and movement during sessions i.e. are you improving, moving better, and recovering faster?
Body Composition – we measure body composition using a tool called the “InBody”. This machine is a bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) tool that accurately measures body composition.
All new PowerStrength members receive a FREE InBody Scan. This helps us set goals and develop a roadmap to meet your goals. We then use the InBody to measure progress on a timeline specific to the goals and needs of each member.
